Latest update on Storm Dave

Currently we have no reports of any significant issues or disruption due to Storm Dave in the Scottish Borders.

Met Office colleagues have however advised that strong gusts of winds have hit Dumfries and Galloway recently and anticipate the strongest winds to impact the Borders from 10pm onwards. 

We are seeing notable increases in wind gust speeds at locations across the area.

As a reminder, the amber weather warning is in place until 3am tomorrow, with underlying yellow weather warnings for wind covering the whole of the Borders further into Sunday.
